Zest of life, Still Life artwork by Vanessa Mave, is a fun piece, using pops of colour to create a scrumptious mix of textures, pattern and fruit.

Using my found fabrics, pottery and plants, I create scenes that are
reminiscent of times spent together with friends and family. Picnics, dinners, before and after the event. I explore different compositions, colour and shape, using the objects to create form, light and shadow.

This piece is perfect to bring some bright contrast into a space, pair it with a more muted piece to create a statement. Great in a living space or kitchen, and even in a bedroom.

Zest for life currently sits on my sideboard in my bedroom, to add a pop of colour and fun.
